A universe with but one sun and planet

A planet that always faces the same way to the sun

A high glassy wall at one end of the planet. Built by an earlier civilization? But why?. What's beyond it?

A prince with a curiosity to know the answer and the resources to attempt to find out.

A visitor.

Such are the building blocks of a short story with a mathematical twist. A story without a raygun or spaceship to be found, but as we will find out, very much science fiction.

What about the platform engineer's feeling at the end?
